The Night Watchman.

Who is Rumpy?

Loud, messy, mischievous—and learning. Rumpy is not a villain. Friendship gives him a reason to notice the woods, and a reason to protect them.

“i AM listening.”

Rumpy’s story moves from disturbing the woods to noticing them, appreciating them, and protecting them. He doesn’t become perfect. Sometimes a simple “Rumpy…” is enough of a reminder.

After sunset he becomes the Night Watchman. His size, fearlessness and knowledge of hiding places finally have a purpose. The loudest creature in the Walkabout is learning to listen.
